Welcome to ReceiptOptic! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReceiptOptic website (https://receiptoptic.com), desktop applications, and mobile applications.
By downloading, installing, or accessing ReceiptOptic, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
ReceiptOptic is a local-first financial ledger, OCR receipt scanner, and budget planner. We provide data extraction tools, net worth analytics, and optional secure database syncing via Supabase.
ReceiptOptic stores data locally on your devices. Local database security relies on SQLCipher. You are solely responsible for creating and maintaining a strong user password; we cannot recover lost passwords or restore un-synced data.
You agree to use ReceiptOptic only for lawful personal or business financial tracking. You agree not to reverse engineer, disrupt, or exploit the secure cloud APIs provided as part of the official managed build.
ReceiptOptic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, data corruption, or sync failures resulting from system modifications, network outages, or unauthorized credentials access.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the software after updates constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
